LEGALIZATION OF COMMERCIAL DOCUMENTS
(invoices - certificate of origin, etc...)
In order to get your documents
legalized, please follow the instructions below.
1.
Before sending the documents to the consular section, they
should be legalised by the Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish or Danish Chamber
of Commerce.
2.
Please send the original invoices and/or documents to the
consular section by the mail delivery system you prefer, (i.e. regular mail,
recommended or with a currier, with return cost and envelope with your
accurate name and address )
3.
In order to have your documents legalized quickly, you are
advised to pay (or transfer) the exact amount
of fees of legalization in the bank and send the original notice of payment
along with the document. Fees of legalization are shown in the Fees list
- The legalization fees should
be paid to the account of the Syrian
Embassy in Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB),
account no: 52 55 10 15 146. For international payment use Iban number: SE 275 000 0000052551015146, Swift
code: ESS ES ESS.
Please make sure that
any cost of transfer should be paid by you additionally.
- Payment by check is not
acceptable as it prolongs the process of completion of legalization and
costs more due to bank charges.
- Legalization of commercial documents by Notarius Publicus is not required and
does not fulfil the requirements and cannot be
a substitute for the legalization by the Chamber of Commerce.
