Visa issues
IMPORTANT:
Processing applications takes 3 to 7 days, depending on the
work
load.
All Arab nationals can obtain their visa at the
Syrian borders upon showing their Arab citizenship documents even if they
have non-Arab citizenship in addition to their Arab one.
The Embassy accept the Iraqi passport sort S,
only if there is a valid Swedish residence permit
issued by the Swedish authorities in the passport.
Holders of Danish, Finnish, or Norwegian
passports have the option of obtaining their visa from Syrian borders on
arrival, or send their applications and passports to the embassy in
Stockholm to obtain their visa., (except journalists, staff
and trainees from the official
authorities and other cases, they have to apply for visa).

3 - Original Passport valid for at least 6 months. .
5 - None tourist applicants should attach original document
(s) supporting requested type of visa.
6 - A prepaid stamped return envelope with correct address
and telephone number (Only recommend post).
(Applicants from Norway, Denmark and Finland use International Coupons , you have to send
8 international coupons for 1 passport and 12 for 2 passports etc.
7 - The fees ( fees list
) cash only
8 - For dependent children travelling alone, a written
approval from parents must be attached.
Please send the above required items and note that incomplete
applications cannot be processed until all requirements are
fulfilled! Write your complete address and phone number to contact
you in case more information is needed by the embassy.
Group Visa
The Tourist Group Visa is being issued free of charge to a
tourist group consists of at least ten travellers, The trip should be
organized by a travel agency in the country of residence, the tourist group
must travel together both in and out of Syria.
The Group visa requirements:
1- A sealed letter from the travel agency organizing the trip
asking the embassy to issue the visa, mentioning the number of the
travellers and the planned date of entrance and exit

4- Original passports
5- A copy of the first page of the passport
6- Fill the group visa application form (Group Visa)
7- A return envelope
The visa issued by the embassy is entry visa. It grants entry
into Syria within three months of issuing date - unless otherwise
indicated. A tourist may enter and stay for two weeks without further
procedures. However, a tourist willing to stay in Syria for more than 2
weeks - or a non-tourist visitor - must visit the immigration authorities
in Syria, within 15 days of entering Syria, to obtain further
stay-permit.
A multiple entry visa is granted only for special purposes;
please do not apply for a multiple visa if you do not have a specific
reason approved by the embassy.
